my parents grow the plants at home and i wanted to know how to extract the good stuff out (never opened an aloe plant before) and into a shampoo that already has aloe so i can increase the concentation/potency of itPutting fresh aloe vera straight from the plant into shampoo?
U just cut a oitllt piece of it, take out a side of it and take the liquid in the inside and put it straight into ur shampoo!!

Sounds like a great idea! Just cut it open and squeeze the aloe out .

Pluck the leaf, split it with a knife, then just rub it in your hair. I use it on my skin. You are probably wasting your money by buying a branded oproduct as all these shampoos contain vertually the same ingredients. Plus there is only a tiny amount of aloe in there any way. check the back of two bottles and see for yourself(largest quantities come 1st)

Of course it would be okay. And aloe is good for almost..anything. ESPECIALLY for your skin.
