How often should i give a cat a bath and what shampoo to used for cat to smell fresh for a long time?

Only dogs need baths; cats are self-cleaning. Seriously though, don't bathe your cat. Their skins/coats dry out extremely easily and all kinds of problems happen when their coats are too dry. The only reason to bathe a cat is if they get something on their fur that they should not ingest/lick because it would make them sick.

Giving a cat a bath is good about every 3-6 months ppl say the cat cleans its self but they dont really cats lick themselves but it doesnt really clean them all they do when the lick themselves is get some of the top dirt off them and brush their fur so it is good to give them baths and cats do hate water so u need to be prepared for anything the first time i gave my cat a bath was painful but i did learn


btw some ppl say to use luke warm water but that is not true u should use cool water not cold but cool becase the cool water will relax the cat causing less stress for the cat and u

Never, its a cat not a dog. The only time to bath a cat is if it's gotten into something like motor oil or paint. Brushing the cats coat will help it shine and loosen the dander(which holds odor).
