I just bought some pet head shampoo...does it work to keep a indoor dog smelling fresh and clean?

Shampoos that make your pup smell good only works for a short while. There is not shampoo that can leave your pup smelling fresh throughout the day. Also dont bathe your pup everyday. It will make your pups skin dry, itchy, and it will crack; also he will loose all the beneficial oils he needs that makes his coat look shiny and healthy. I suggest you give him baths every 3-4 weeks. If he starts to smell like a dog, buy those little bottles of ';perfume'; for dogs you can buy at your local petsmart or petco and spray a couple on his body.I just bought some pet head shampoo...does it work to keep a indoor dog smelling fresh and clean?
shampoos work for the short term, but make sure you concentrate getting the best diet as this keeps a dog smelling the best. Feed a dog too much fatty or oily food and it gets greasy and smells!!
an indoor dog shouldnt smell...bathing too often cause loss of natural oils and makes the skin itchy..dont over bath.
